Hannah Nicole's Excellent New Whites PDF Print E-mail
Written by Aldo Ghiozzi

What started out to be a quick visit to Hannah Nicole to pick up some wine, turned into something crazy.  So, we get there thinking we're going to just say "hi" to everyone we knew, pick up some wine and go, but then Toni, their tasting room manager, tells us they have all their new whites and their new Rose to try.  We are definitely bigger fans of reds in general, but figured, "Ooh, something new to try is always fun."  Now, let me preface this by saying last year we kindly expressed our opinion that their 2007 Chardonnay was too sweet (a great entry level wine for non-traditional wine drinkers) and the 2007 Viognier was not a taste we enjoyed...And then...BOOM...the 2009 Sauv Blanc...BOOM...the 2009 Viognier...BOOM...the 2009 Le Melange Blanc...BOOM...the 2009 Chardonnay.  Unreal.

We are not even going to waste space talking about the smell, sight and taste of each of the wines because they are ALL excellent.  Period.  Seriously, if you are an avid wine enthusiast, these whites are all something you should enjoy.  If you have not been to their tasting room to experience the view, taste the wines or enjoy the events (like we did at Movie Night on Friday), prepare your wallet because you will find a great lineup of new whites to satisfy every hot day this area has to offer.
